He went out and bought 2 pregnancy test i took one on a sat. and it came up negative( i took that one in the afternoon) then i took the other one on monday.(in the morning) i heard that they are more accurate in the morning, anyways. That one came up negative too so i figured i can't be pregnant. I mean i know its a possibility but i doubt that the pregnancy test mis read it twice!! annnyywaaaayss, i still havent gotten my period yet! i have an irregular period but the months half way over. do you think i could still be pregnant? or is there another reason my period could be late, (oh and i know that stress can cause a late period too but i havent been stressed out latley)thanks.

if you are irregular, there is a possibility that your cycle just hasn't got to that point yet, do not worry just yet, as i remember once going for about three months without.
there could be some kind of issue with your hormone levels.
if you are still worried in the next couple of weeks, i suggest going to your gp. pregnancy tests are not very accurate normally, it all depends on how far you are along and also, how expensive the test it, if it is cheap, it is going to be a lot less effective as something like a ClearBlue

Hormonal problems can also cause irregularity in your monthly cycle. In some cases it is a scar tissue from other internal injuries. If there was none then you can rest assured that stress can do it too. If you don't think you were under stress lately you should consider the time just before the onset is normally due. Because you can also become pregnant in the tubes it may also be a consideration. I also agree that testing too early could give you a false reading.
If you continue to have this problem you should see a gynocologist so you can rule out underlying conditions which could also include cancer of the uterus, cervical cancer, etc... or an association with contraceptives. Deprovera and Birth Control Pills among others will cause cessation of your cycle. Get medical help if it doesn't come soon.
God can help ease your worries, Pray.
