Honestly at 5' and 40kg you sound just about perfect to me. Stay slim and feminine and a lot of guys are going to want to look after you and protect you.

People come in all sizes are very few (read: virtually NONE) of us are perfect. Even the "perfect" ones suffer from grave outlooks... why else would a beautiful girl starve herself to death trying to be "thinner".
Celebrate your uniqueness and develop your own style. You're at an age where you can re-invent yourself. Go to college, re-invent your look and enjoy!

I'm nearly 17 and I'm 5 foot exactly, just embrace your height! it's all down to genetics, there is nothing you can do D:

Hey :)
I feel your pain! I'm about 5'2 and in my teenage years I always wanted to be taller!
There is no certain cut-off point I'm afraid, no un-written law that declares at 18 all bodies MUST stop growing. Every body is different. You may stop growing at 18, you may stop growing a few years from now, nobody can know I'm afraid. The height of your parents/grandparents can be an indicator (ie. If they're all very short it's not likely you're going to be a giant).
I don't think there's any way you can make yourself taller I'm afraid, if you grow, you grow. If you don't, you don't.
You just have to learn to love your body, even if there is less of it than you wanted!
Think of all the great things about being short... you can wear great heels without looking like a giant, you will never bang your head on a door frame or low-hanging branch, when it rains you're drier for 1 second longer than people taller than you... :P
Keep smiling and love yourself :)

18 is your last growth spurt from what i hear. drink lots of milk and eat lots of healthy food if your worried. there is no affective way of getting taller but usually if you dont drink as much caffine then you will be taller than average. unless your family are short too and it's genetic.
