writes: Is the lube on a condom enough lubricant for anal intercourse? My boyfriend and I have used one before, and it was okay. That was my first time, and I knew it would hurt like hell anyway. This last time, the second time, we had vaginal intercourse with an unlubed condom (lubed only with vaginal lubricant and spit, which we use as lube most of the time anyway). It felt awesome, but am I doing any damage by not using a real lube like KY or WET, etc? And is using a lubed condom okay? Thanks!!!!!!~To Lube, or Not to Lube~

Well my experience with anal sex and lube, is that i have to have enough lube or it wont happen. Also I make the guy go slow. Fast hurts too much. i can deal with slow. as far as using lube with a condom, most lubes are ok. Double check on the packaging. I do know that if u decide to use spermicidal lubricants, some of them can cause the latex to deteriorate, causing the condom to break easier. Just read the packages, they are usually pretty good about leaving a notice on the package if it would have that affect. to my knowledge none of those types of lubricants are not available on the market any more. hope this helps!
p.s. i also agree with CD about the pain with anal sex

If it feels okay with just the lube from a condom then it's probably fine. Pain is our body's natural way of telling us that something is wrong so if you're not feeling pain chances are everything is fine.
