Is the invitation really to watch a movie, or is it something else?

A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I went on a blind date recently. It was great. There was a second date, a couple of days later. At the end of the date he finally kissed me for the first time. The guy seems to be very respectful and gentleman like. For our third date , he invited me over his house for a movie. I don't know if I am totally comfortable with it. I am afraid he will want me in bed, and I'm not ready for that step yet. Am I thinking wrong? Could it be that its just a movie? I wish I could get into his head and read his mind. Guys, I need advice!

Illithid agony auntSometimes a guy invites a girl to his place to watch a movie without it meaning sex. He could just want to be a little more casual, le down his guard some and let you see him in his element. If he's being a gentleman so far, trust him some. Just let him know what your limit is.

as you have already kissed he may well be thinking he likes you and wants to keep seeing you.
