We haven't known each other for very long (about a month) and she started grind dancing which she hasn't done at all that night.Is she leading me on for something more even though she knows we're friends?  i wouldn't read too much into it. dancing is just dancing for a lot of people. if she was hanging all over you the entire night i would be inclined to say otherwise. was she? does she have a tendency to flirt with you outside of this dancing?

Well, I've seen something very similar go on recently to one of my friends.
The thing about the dance clubs is that girls can be the biggest teases in the world. From what you've said, I would think that this girl just wanted to dance with you and is somewhat stringing you along because she wanted someone to grind with and knows you... I've danced pretty intimately with girls I was just friends with... confusing, yes, but that is the place to get close.
