He left the decision to me about if we should or not, so can the law still call it a form of rape? It was consensual. Plus, I have heard that you can get pregnant even if it is only precum. We have been talking about the possibility of me being pregnant but I dont know how long I should wait to take the test. How long does it take before the pregnancy hormone is detectable by a home test? How long before I start feeling the early signs of being pregnant? Any advice I would be very grateful!!

Depending on what state you live in decides the law for rape. I know here in Illinois, if you are 17 years old and you sleep with someone over the age of 18, it is okay. But that varies state to state. Try going to google and research your state with the word rape in it and it should right away tell you what the ages are and then you will know for sure. Say that it is considered rape in your state, weather it was wanted by the both of you it is still considered rape in the laws eyes.About being pregnant I have been in your spot, I am 21 years old and it is so scary. You can totally get pregnant from precum!!!! Thats's what alot of couples dont realize, you need to be careful about that. Whenever your last period was calculate on month from there and then add one week, thats how I usually do it. You are pretty safe at that point to take a test, but make sure when you do take a test take it in the morning. The hormone you need is higher in the morning so it will be better at detecting it. I know someone who was 16 and thought she was pregnant took 6 test all negative and found out at 4 months she was pregnant, they dont work for everyone. Signs of pregnancy start pretty early sometimes, most common is tender breasts. You can also research on google first signs of pregnancy and they are usually correct for the most part, but again varies for each person. Good luck

I don't know any of the symptoms but a word of advice, maybe you won't like it but are you sure you want to have a baby? and I think it takes like a month to know if you are pregnant but anyhow think of your future. Don't ruin it by having an unplanned baby believe me your problems dont dissapear
