writes:I am nearly twenty and he is thirty one. Is that too much of an age difference? I know others that are his age and older and I would regard them as scarily older than me at times but with my boyfriend that's never there. I feel almost as though we're equal but obviously with a gap like that there's instances where its apparent that he knows so much more about the world than I do.We met by chance and started talking as friends and then eventually after a few months went out on a date. I don't feel as though he pressured me to see him or acts in any way authoritative, if you know what I mean. I don't feel that it's wrong when I'm with him, but the thing is, I LOOK very young. Much younger than I am. I am often mistaken for underage (sometimes even under 16!), and that makes me wonder why he is attracted to me. Most folk treat me in a condescending manner because of how I look because they assume that I am a young teenager rather than a young woman. I've got to admit that the fact that he wants me even though I look so young is a little bit creepy. Is it creepy? Reply to this Question

You were friends first and then moved on from there so it sounds like he didnt pressure you and what ye have is real. Dont be put off by the fact you think he likes you to look young-i look young and my boyfriend thinks it makes him look young too so thats prob just it! Plus wont it come in handy when we are older?! Stop analysing and enjoy!

 You guys were friends before you dated, so I'm sure it's not about how you look. He's attracted to your personality, and if he hasn't expressed any concern about your age difference, then it doesn't bother him.
