 Everybody has different ideas on when to have sex. Maybe he feels that he won't initiate sex until she shows signs she is ready. You have to find someone with the same values as you. With an open minded, free spirited person, you won't find her throwing the words respect and sex together. When you find someone with rigid thinking, you can be right while wrong by her standards.

He respects the moral code. It doesn't necessarily mean having sex on the first date is disrespectful. Although a lot of users are disrespectful but having sex on a first date doesn't necessarily make you a user. I find that SOME men who are unconfident with themselves are usually the ones who are "respectful" towards ladies.

 It means that you show you care for them and you are not just using them for sex. I find these types are usually gentleman and I feel safe being around them knowing they will not try to use me.
If you are in a relationship it can even also apply. Not trying to have sex when you know your bf/gf is not ready to have sex shows respect and love.
