6 inchs is the average UK sized male penis for the age of 30 years old! Aww baby!I have a 14 yr. old son too and he is going thru the same thing. It's out of your control now,your erections are a part of turning into a young adult.The size of your penis should not be an issue to you, you should be concerned if it's to small!LOL!!!Ignore the children who are laughing and ridiculing you, you are a young man and when your ready will be able to plessure your lady with what god gave you.

At your age I'm told random erections are fairly common. Used to see them in boys when I was in school too, though I flatter myself to think I had something to do with those bulges :)
As for being made fun of, well that's truly unfortunate. Kids are innately mean though. Try to shrug it off.

 Well, 7 inch is roughly the national average size, so chances are you wont get much bigger...... & if you do there's a lucrative career in porn ahead of you.
The only real thing I can say about the random erection issue is, its a stage everyone goes through, & fortunately it doesnt last too long. Other than that, baggy clothing & keep your shirt untucked.

You should count yourself lucky, many boys/men would kill for a larger penis. My boyfriend hates his too, says it always gets in the way, always sits on it etc, etc. But it's something you'll have to deal with I'm afraid. Once you're sexually active, I think you'll learn to like it more, as the girls will like it.

 Embarrasing now, happy guy later. I find this funny because most guys want to know how to make it bigger, and actually spend hundreds of dollars buying things and drugs to make them bigger.
Your hormones are all over the place right, so erections will happen. When it does, just clear your mind, and do not think about the fact of it being hard, it will go away. Works for me.
You will be the size you were meant to be, it does not keep growing all your life. If it did, you would have trunk, not a penis :)

 This used to happen one of my friends before and i will give u the same advice I gave him. Whenever you get an erection think unsexy thoughts when you get one.I'm sure it'll calm down when you get a little older and your hormones settle a bit but till then really do think of unsexy thoughts

Or you could go to the bathroom and pleasure yourself, or you can just wear a cup. As for your penis getting any bigger, it might grow more, boys usually are finished devolping by their early twenties. And dont worry, you're lucky, if any guys make fun of you its probaly just because their jealous. Good Luck! :]

reader, anonymous, writes (11 August 2010): As for the size, it is normal. It may grow a bit more yet, but you'll probably still be in a normal range. Anything up to 8 inches is pretty normal. THere will be many days ahead where you (and women) will be glad you have what you have. So don't worry.
As for the mockery at school...I'm sorry to hear that. You could try wearing baggier clothes. Do you wear boxers? If so, maybe try boxer briefs. I find even at my age (41), I get spontaneous erections from wearing boxers because all my (ahem) junk rattles around and it stimulates me. And I am not even as large as you, and its a problem for me. Briefs "hold" stuff better...but get the ones with a pouch front so they don't squeeze everything. There may be things to suppress erections that the doctor can give, but I wouldn't mess with anything like that.
Kids at your age will ALWAYS find something to mock about. If it isn't your wee wee, it will be your pimples. If it isn't that, it will be the clothes you wear. It's insecurity on their part, and nothing more. I bet they are all jealous that you have what you have, honestly.
