writes: My ex started a conversation with me online today. We haven't spoken in a few weeks, but he used to keep me close, and so I was always suspicious that he was using me as a safety net, so if things went wrong in his current relationship then he would have me to fall back on. He told me he's split up with his girlfriend (he cheated on her with me within 24 hours of starting their relationship) and we flirted a bit, but he didn't throw himself at me like I would expect him to in a situation like this. I mean, he talked about his muscles and about sex, but for him this isn't that big a deal. Now I'm torn. Does this mean he's decided to show me some respect and stop treating me as just another woman, or does it mean he's not into me anymore? I know I've portrayed him to be a horrible person and you must think me stupid to want to be with him anyway, but I do love the guy and nothing seems to be able to change that, and he's the most amazing guy in the world, but he has his faults, just like everyone else.

I know what you mean... well, if you really like him, don't hook up with him just yet... don't be the rebound gf... be the women he has to learn to respect by being there for him, but not giving in to your cravings. But be sure that you're dating other men and getting on with your life. Keep me posted! Good Luck!
