Is my coworker interested in me, or is it in my head?

Question - (12 January 2011) 2 Answers - (Newest, 13 January 2011)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I like this guy I work with, but I don't know if he is just friendly, or likes me back. To clarify I work part time at a grocery store. Some traits of our relationship:

-He helps me whenever I need something

-He always laughs at my jokes and seems to brighten up when he sees me

-He comes over to my register to help bag groceries and after he is done helping someone else he always seems to come back

-Sometimes I think he looks nervous around me but that might just be in my head

However

-we are friends on facebook but he never tries to chat with me, even though he will comment on my status

I can't think of any other negative stuff right now, but it's hard to get a read on him. I think he is interested in me, but it's hard to flirt because of all the people around. (grocery stores are not very private) Help please!

Chat him up on Facebook! Try to make more than small talk. If you have a blackberry, ask for his PIN! You just have to jump in with both feet and see what happens! :)

Alot of girls are afraid of rejection, but my advice to all women is to just do it! You have nothing to lose!

A reader, anonymous, writes (12 January 2011):

He may well like you then again there are no clear signs that he feels romantic feelings either.

If you are friends on facebook then why not start a convo on there? It might break the ice a bit.
