If it's obsession then you'll both dramatically flop off at the first sign of trouble.
If it's love then you'll accept faults and put effort into making things work after the first rush of "OMG HE/SHE IS PERFECT!!!!!123" has worn off.
Give it time and see what happens. This is why I always advise people to wait a few years before marrying / having kids.
