writes:my friend left out of state via. plane from Georgia to California, and back. she had sex. her period is either late, or she missed it. it's only been a week since the time she had sex.Is she pregnant? or is jet lag just throwing her schedule off whack?

 There are lots of things that can affect her period, for instance, being around a new group of women with a different period cycle, nutrition and health, but if she is worried, she should simply take an over-the-counter pregnancy test.

reader, anonymous, writes (5 January 2008): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionwell, she's worried that she's pregnant, and she's pretty regular about her period, it's usually towards the end of the month, but she hasn't had hers yet. It's barely been a week since she had sex, so i think it's too early for her to know. I'm just worried.
