Is it wrong to date my ex's best friend?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I went out with a guy for 2 months and during that time he introduced me to his best friend. After we broke up his best friend confessed to having strong feelings for me.

So now i'm stuck i dont know what to do. Is it wrong to go out with him because of previously going out with his best friend?

i'll appreciate any help

I don't think this would be a wrong thing to do - as long as he isnt worried about seeing your ex, and maybe an old flame between you being reignited. So make sure this is ok with him, and make sure there are no horror stories or skeletons in the cupboard being told to him by your ex!
