Then all of the sudden we stopped talking every day and things just went down hill.. This was around the middle of summer. Now my best friend wants him!! She told me" I like john but I won't go for him cuz you still like him" so I thought hmm at least she told me.. Though I was still a little upset at her. A few weeks later she gets in a fight with the other guy she likes, so she calls me and asks if it's okay if she has john cuz she has no one else. I said sure cuz I'm talking to this other guy that I really like... But she invited john to our winter formal and she talks about him every day and I can't help but be mad... Is it wrong of me to get mad at this? Am I just a jealous freak?

You have a right to be mad because your friend is seeing the guy you like even though she said she wouldn't. But at the same time, she came to you and was honest, and since you're not speaking to this other guy, you have no claim over him.
I think it would be sad for you to throw a relationship with your friend away for a guy who's not into you. You can't have him, so it's worthless to fight with her for him. She was honest first time around, and has at least been honest now.
You don't have a claim to him, so you need to let him go. As for your friend, it would be a shame to be so mad at her over the sake of a guy who's not into you.
