Very normal. I am most horny towards the end and right after. If he's a little iffy on whether or not it will be messy, try the shower. That's where my man and I do it. You can rinse it all off and it's like it never happened (the messy part I mean). Just ask if he would consider it in the shower. Tell him you'd like to try it once and see how it goes. Maybe he will love it and you'll get it every month during that time.

Not weird at all, it's actually pretty normal. If he is too squeamish, get yourself a rabbit.

My girlfriend is like you and we have sex when she is on her period. Honestly it's the best most passionate sex we have too. Because women are extra sensitive in that region when they're menstruating. I don't mind doing oral either, to me it's just another body fluid and I'm not squeamish about it.
The amount of benefits to pleasuring her on her period are immense too. It lightens the flow greatly and can even stop it. It also lessons cramping, and most of the time with my girl the cramps stop completely. So not only do I get a great feeling from giving her an orgasm I also feel great that I've taken her pain away. It really can relive PMS a great deal. If she's having a particularly heavy and painful cycle then we'll have sex every morning of that cycle and in the evening too. Just so she has a good start to the day and can relax at night. It's great.
We're both tested for STD's and are both clean. That is the only drawback with it, it greatly increases the chance of getting an STD, we don't really mind the mess we just strategically place towels on our bed or just have sex in the shower.

When it should be a celebration of your continued fertility.
For those who embrace their sensuality it's fine. Sheets are pretty messed up, so don't do it at bedtime, as you will then have to change the bed when you least want to. Before breakfast is much better as you can strip the bed and shower and get on with the day. Have fun!

Don't worry, it's completely normal. The fluctuation in hormones affects everyone differently, for some women it kills their sex drive and for others it doesn't. It doesn't mean you're crazy.

Your fiance is probably queasy about the messiness or sight of blood or just the idea of the whole Female Issue thing in general... so it is understandable he wishes to abstain during Those times. Plenty of people are that way, but plenty others also, do not feel that way and just go for it, so it is also understandable that it annoys you a bit. But you're on the losing end here... you'll likely not be able to convince him against his sour stomach...
