Ok, I need to know if I should be mad about this. Me and my boyfriend live with his best friend who is a female. Last night we were playing around and he had just gotten out of the shower when he went to tell our roomate something (still. in his towel) I can see the doorway of her room from ours, to me it looked like he took his towel off!!!! I dont know what to do... i've been freaking out all day. That's just like sleeping with her in my eyes

Boonridge McPhalify agony auntwow- insecurity overload. people are naked all the time in a non sexual fashion. you need to get over your fear that he will leave you for her. its probabaly a very unlikely occurance.

what has happened in the relationship besides this that has given you the fear?

One time my wife's best friend was over and I had just gotten out of the shower. I was wearing a towel when I went out into the living room to get my shirt, which I had left on the table. My wife gave me daggers, but what she didn't know was that I had already put my underwear on so I was basically not revealing anything more than at the beach (if I took my towel off, which I did not). Are you sure your boyfriend was naked under the towel?

If i were in your shoe,i'll be mad at the sight of that but i will handle it rationally. If u say the gurl is his bestfrd then you should tell him politely you think its not proper to go to the gurl's room in his towel. Anything he wants to tell her can wait till he is properly dressed. Don't stay mad at him because he might think you don't trust him and thats not good 4 ur relationship.

A female reader, chigirl Norway +, writes (11 June 2011):

chigirl agony auntEven if he showed himself naked to her, it is not the same as sleeping with her. It is crossing the line in the eyes of many, but sleeping with someone is sleeping with someone, and nothing else. Was it an accident? Did he drop it accidentally? Did you see it wrong and he didn't take his towel off? Did you even ask him about this?

If he's not trying to be too intimate with her, and stays true to you and is loyal to you, then this doesn't have to be a big deal. You can't really change it much anyway, if he's a person who wants to be intimate like this with his friends, regardless of gender (standing in only his towel in front of her) then that is who he is. You either accept that, and accept him as he is, or you leave and find a more modest man.

Maybe he didn't? You're not sure, right? There's nothing to freak out. He didn't kiss her or he didn't have sex. They must be playing if he did. Its normal to be suspicious. And you should just ask him.
