When I was nursing, my lactation consultant said that I should wear nursing bras all the time, even to bed, for the support. The girls were bigger than before and I needed the extra support, believe me. Now that they're smaller again I've gone back to not wearing anything at night.
I was a AA growing up and only got breasts when I finally put on some weight (I was a bean pole for a long time, which, sadly, I've overcome [grin]). I don't think wearing or not wearing a bra had anything to do with size one way or the other. I can see that someone who is large might want the extra support to keep the girls perky (not sagging) but other than that I don't think it matters at all.

There are no scientific studies to my knowledge that say whether bras have any effect on breast growth. I doubt they do, anyway. There are a few studies that indicate women who wear bras 24 hours a day have a greater risk of developing breast cancer. But there are only a few studies that say that, so it's not yet convincing evidence.
BUT, you are SO young. At your age, even if you wear a bra to bed for the next 10 years, if won't make a difference in your breast health.
Although, for your future health (like when you're 40 years old), it's better to get out of the habit now of sleeping in your bra. If you forget to take it off, don't worry. Actually, if you forget to take it off until you're 20, don't worry. :) I bet when you're older you'll find your bra uncomfortable and you'll naturally want to peel it off.
