You are not an old married woman coming out of a 25 year relationship looking for answers, you are young. So why not enjoy yourself and better still enjoy good sex?
I'm confused that you still think you love your ex despite the lies,drama and bad sex. This sounds like 3 dealbreakers all in one.
Having said that though, when you are ready for a relationship its probably not best to jump into bed with the guy so early - get to know them as a friend first.

 Are you sure you really love the ex? Arguing all the time, lies, drama, not enjoying sex. Ive had similar myself in the past and it doesnt get any better. You cant get tipsy everytime they want a shag!
It might be a good idea to see the new guy, take your mind off the nightmare you have just come from. Cant hurt can it? Sounds like you deserve some fun!
