No it isn't any better - as everyone has said, the friction causes them to break. The best way to double up is with two different kinds of contraceptives, i.e. birth control & the condom.
Stay safe!

Two condoms will rub together and break both. One is all you need and if you use two you might as well use none because it puts you at the same chance of getting pregnant.

It only really helps in those rare instances where one breaks and the other one doesn't. And the down side is that it represents twice the physical barrier between the two of you, something that many couples find quite annoying. One condom is bad enough but really necessary for casual sex. Two is just overdoing it, in most instances.
And relying on condoms alone for birth control ... well, there's a technical term for people who do that. We call them "parents". Get a backup plan as well, because nothing (except 100% abstinence) is 100% foolproof.

Hi Hunny
Its not actually safer to use two condoms than one as the two can rub together causing friction and break, Hunny you would be better sorting out some contraception for you...

A

The pill protects against pregnancy, but continue to use the condom as well to protect against disease. Try to pick up a "spermicide" (lube) as it adds protection to the condom.

If you use it right and use lube, one should be sufficient. Two sounds like it would be uncomfortable.
If you want some extra protection, try going on the pill.
