Is it possible to reach my target weight with my diet plan?

I plan to go on a peach and orange fruit diet for 7 days. And just going for brisk walks in the morning (no other excercise). Right now I am a size 7-8. I want to get down to a size at least 5. Is it possible for me to reach my goal?

88jane agony aunthun, why do you think that you need to lose weight? if your as slim as you say you are then losing weight could very seriously affect your health. have you always had an issue with your weight? im just worried that you may have an eating disorder. If you needed to lose weight (which i dont think you do) then this is the wrong way to go about it. A balanced diet of fruit and veg, carbohydrates, protein and small amounts of fat along with regular exercise and drinking plenty of water will enable you to have a healthy lifestyle. crash diets never work--you need all the above components in your diet to be healthy--including small amounts of fat!

I think that you should see a doctor or maybe a counsellor to talk about your issues with your weight because becoming any slimmer could affet your health---anorexia can cause brittle bones, fertility problems (becuase menstruation stops)and you could seriously risk your life! please seek some professional advice asap and please dont embark on this ridiculous diet

iM Exactly The Same.. I Tried This With Just Drinkin Water And Eating Fruit And In Just A Month My Weight Dropped ALOT . it Was Horrible As i Went Down To 6 Stone And I Was ALWAYS Colapsing And Was In Hospital .. I Cudnt Eat Properly Without Throwing Up And I Have To Have Tablets Everyday.. But Im A Good Size 7-8 Now And I Dont No Why You Want To Go Down From That Size!! Its Great xx

That diet is very likely to give you diarrhea. To some people, that may be desirable--thy're called bulemics.

Unless you are quite fine-boned and short, 7-8 is a perfectly healthy size. Why are you wasting your time on this?

O Connor agony auntit sounds as if you are a perfect size and you want to go down to the likes of nicole richie?!!!plus i dont think the plan that you have is healthy if you wanna lose weight then excercise and eat right and in moderation. i do think you are mad to want to lose that much weight wat height are you?? you should be happy with the size you are now and relish in the fact that you are that size already.

Are you stupid or what???

You're already under weight unless you're only 3 feet tall so why do you want to get to a size 5 unless you're trying to make yourself ill?

If you look in the mirror and see a fat person you have a problem and need professional help. In any case, very few men would want to be seen out with a woman who has the figure of a stick insect with visible ribs, so ask yourself why you want to look like that.

Hi hun

This to me is a little worring, Im a u.k size 8 and id like to put weight on I have been trying for ages... It is very dangerous to just eat one food you have to have a balanced diet 3 meals a day and at least 6-8 glasses of water a day then slowly do it but im really thinking you must be a nice size now sweetheart. I would realy re consider your decision, to go down to a size 5. That isnt just unhealthy, now a days men normaly tend to go for, the more rounded women. It isnt possible, like Dr Pete said, to lose 3 dress sizes in a week. You will should do plenty of exercise, and drink plenty of water, and then you need to make sure you eat 3- 5 meals a day, healthy.. and stay within the special amount of calories..

That's not dieting, that's starving yourself to loose weight. 3 sizes in 7 days? That is impossible.

People who eat fruit for a week do it to detox, it can actually be a good experience in that context but don't think it's a way to diet, because it's not. If you stop eating a proper balanced diet you will mess up your body's metabolism and you will end up craving more high carb / sugar foods and you'll put on more weight to compensate for what your body has lost.

If you want to loose weight, do it sensibly. Eat a well balanced diet and do it in combination with exercise. You won't loose weight in a week, but at least you will keep it off and at least you won't harm your body in the process.
