According to those menstrual cycle calculator things her fertile days 19-24 of october. And she was supposed to be ovulating on the 22. This month (november)she got her period on the 5th and we had sex on that day and i'm certain we had sex during that time in october as well. However on the second day she did not bleed at all. Could she be pregnant? We had both protected and unprotected sex on the first day of her period. And before that we were unproected, but i did pull out everytime. All and any help is VERY appreciated as i am very worried.

Actually, I've heard of some women getting their period every month while still pregnant. I'm not sure if it's an actual period and maybe more so spotting like other posters have mentioned.
It does sound like it could be a possibility that she is pregnant if she bled the first day and not the second (but then again that's happened to me and I wasn't pregnant). Generally, there's always a possibility that she could be pregnant. Also, as far as trying to go off the chart as to when she would be ovulating isn't always effective. In fact, I've heard it's one of the worst forms of birth control and results in pregnancy the most. Just because she's technically supposed to ovulate on certain days of the month doesn't necessarily mean that is when she's going to ovulate. Pregnancys still occur while having sex while she's on her period as well as shortly after and before.

A lady can get pregnant at any point in the cycle, depending on how long the sperm is able to survive and wait fo the ovum. Nothwithstanding, the likelihood of getting pregnant during menstruation is low, but it is still possible. She could get emergency contraception from a reproductive centre within 72 hours after sex or you can do a pregnancy test. Although it is rare, some women do have menses even though they are pregnant. The best bet is to always use protection until you are ready for a child.

So she started her period on the right day? Which by the way sounds about right if she ovulated when you said in october. You had sex on day 2 of her period, then she stopped bleeding? Its very unlikely she got pregnant then. But it depends if you have been using the withdrawel method in the months previous to that, thats whats more important right now I guess? Because yes, women have been known to have periods whilst they are pregnant. Its not all that common though obviously, as usually missed periods altogether are the first sign of pregnancy.
These days the tests for pregnancy are quite good, so you can do them from a few days before your period is due (I think) at worst its on the day the period is due, so get her to do a test tomorrow or monday, you can get a false positive, but not a fasle negative, If that makes sense. Atleast thats what the doctor told me years ago. I dont expect its changed x
