First, I don't see how staying inside would be any more dangerous than the rest of the sexual act. So, let's narrow my answer to whether it is OK to stay inside, and let's assume that there are no risks of infection with any disease, for ANY of the partners. "Safe" means "safe for both".
Is it OK to stay inside? It depends.
If you're using a condom for contraception, then withdraw before you lose the erection. Otherwise, the sperm might get into her, and preventing that was the reason why you used the condom, wasn't it?
If you're not using a condom, there are women who prefer that you stay inside. They don't want to feel that you just push them to a side of the bed once you're done using them.

 I agree. Make her feel good before you do. when my boyfriend and i have sex he does the same thing. But once he has an orgasm i can feel the differece. he has not as eract and it doesnt feel as good. He then gets soft and his stroking is a waste of time. Try to make the four play a little longer to make her feel pleased and take your time. I hate when he only thinks of himelf while i;m left still aroused and he washing off in the bathroom getting ready for bed.... EricaX

reader, anonymous, writes (5 June 2009): I'm quite sure most women would say that the most preferable thing to do would be to try to delay your orgasm until she's had at least one of hers.
Think of pulling weeds out from between the daffodils or digging the garden when you think you're going to explode. Basically, pleasure her before you take your own pleasure. Easier said than done sometimes I know, but you'll be thanked for it in the long run.

 Follow the instructions and pull out after coming, the instructions are there for a reason. You could always replace the condom and continue for a while, this is safer. X
