Ok,please don't say anything like "don't be stupid" or "get it over with" or whatsoever. i just have this feeling that I can no longer hold and really need to share it with someone~

So this is my last semester in my college and there is this professor that i really like. I've know him for 4 semesters by now but as days pass by, i just can't stop loving him more. Each moment when i think of him, the corner of my lips can't help but curl into a smile ~ my heart ache as i think of my graduation this summer because that means i'll be leaving and will almost never been able to see him again since i'm going to move to another city. I try to take as many classes with him as i can, which is 3 in total by now, but it never seem enough to me.One thing that bother me is that, he used to call me Jen, which is more endearing, but i don't know why since last semester, he just call me Jenny :( i promise i've never let my feeling slipped out so he won't know that i like him. Therefore, that can't be the cause ~

today, my water bottle accidentally fell so my jeans were like totally wet. i was so embarrassed and before i could think of what to do, he already rushed out the classroom ( in the middle of a lecture ) and went to get me some paper towels. when that wasn't enough, he ran out again to get more and even helped me clean the floor ~

I just start to work in the office of his division so every now and then i get to see him. I swear this isn't any part of a creepy plan to get near him. I applied for a work study position long time ago but there wasn't any open spot till recently. In fact,i see this as God answering my prayer by letting me have this chance to work close to him(call me religious or superstition but that's how i see it)?Anyway, sometimes when he passed by the office, he'll look in and wave at me. the other day when i was on my computer doing stuff, he passed by and knock on the glass door just to say hi ~ isn't that sweet?

When he gave back the test, he handed it to me first. Mine wasn't the last one he graded so ordinarily it shouldn't be on top. the reason that i know he had graded mine first because he graded it in front of me. I said i don't think i did well on the test,so he unlocked his locker and got the pile of test out and graded mine. he was very busy that day so i said it's ok don't bother, but he said he wanted to know how i was doing......

Do u guys think that i can ask him whether i may take a pic of him upon graduation? would it be weird? i just want to have something to remember him, and pic seems the best....

shall i ask?

JenL agony auntthank you again, lonelygirlll, for answering ~ i'm not sure that he will be there for the graduation because our ceremony isn't hold on campus but in an arena. from past experience, not all professors show up that day, which really sucks :(

Shall i just go to him at the last day of class & say " Professor XXX, as you know, this is my last term & i'll be graduating. may i have a pic with you? it's just for memory......"

Maybe just on graduation day go up and just ask to have a pic of the two of you for memories as alot of pics will be taken that day and id say a few others will also get pics with other teachers you could even get one or two sneaky ones of just him!

JenL agony auntthanks for the replies. in fact i really would love to have a picture WITH HIM, and not only OF HIM, but i'm afraid that he'll find it awkward or suspicious. but, since i'll be leaving, i guess it'll worth to try ~ so how exactly shall i ask him? thank you so much for helping ~

No i dont see any problem you would just be asking to take photo for memories of your time there but just ask to get a picture of you taken with him. There should be no problem with that. I know i got a pic taken of me with my teacher before i left my school so that i could have a picture of him.

As long as you're not spilling all the details of your crush on him, I don't think there's anything wrong with asking for a picture. But you should probably ask to take a picture WITH him, not OF him. I've had some amazing professors but I never asked for a picture because they had no idea who I was. It seems like you have a relatively close relationship with this professor and he knows you, so I think you should do it.
