FWIW my BF never says it back and NEVER says it. in the nearly year we've been together I've heard it from him maybe twice....
i base how he feels about me on his actions however.

I know that he probably won't say it back, and I am fine with that. The main thing is I just want hime to know that I do feel this way for him, but I don't expect anything from him just for him to know. Thanks for helping me with this, I really appreciate your help.

I see by your submittal that you are between 30 and 35 years of age....
If you want to wait until you are in your 50s to hear a guy say "I love you".... then go ahead and wait....
Good luck.....
P.S. You KNOW you've only got a 50/5 chance that he'll parrot it back to you if you say it, anyway!!!!!

Perfectly fine to say it first if you mean it. Don't wait for him. Say it.
