I think she is worried that she will be very tense in her genital region and that this may make it more difficult. She has also trouble on getting on the high beds and is worried that she will be forced on the high bed again. Please help. Reply to this Question Share |

Surely, you do not want to be in the room when she has her paps smear. This is a simple test and so necessary for a woman's health. Have her go to a woman gynocologist. I do, and feel very comfortable,. The nurse could be in the room, if necessary. How old is this partner, anyway?

It isn't the most pleasant thing for any woman, but it isn't painful, and most of us get used to it by the time we are 25, especially after giving birth to a couple of babies.
Your partner is perhaps just a little more fearful and tense about these things which will only make matters worse for her during the exam. If she feels like she needs you there then go. And there is nothing in the rules that say you can't give her a shot or two of her favorite liquid courage before she goes in.
