I was on the pill for a couple of years and stopped taking it about 2 months ago. I'm on a period right now but I went 6 weeks without one. This period has been a lot heavier than any I've ever had before. Also, the blood is very light red. Usually it's pretty dark. Is it normal for it to be that light and that red? It looks like the type of blood that comes out when you have a cut. Please answer, I'm really worried about this... Thanks

When you go off pills it has a tendency to screw up your periods for a while, so that's probably why you didn't have your period for 6 weeks and why it is so heavy now.
As for the color of the blood I wouldn't know if this is bad or not, but do ask your gynecologist or doctor about it if you're worried about the color.
Better safe than sorry, right?
