Funny how I danced with him at Prom (but never told my parents about it), and I soon happen to realize that we liked each other. So we've been together for nearly a month, and only dated twice. I'm quite a shy type when it comes to being kissed, especially on the lips since I oddly have ticklish lips. But when he surprisingly kissed me, it was more of a makeout actually. Never had one, neither did he. Commonly I tried the Pocky Kiss(japanese treat, they're great to have to persuade someone into a kiss, and they come in a few flavors), cuz I knew he would like that. ;3So when we were done, I noticed a slight swelling or lining around the edges of my lips, a faint red(like if you eat spicy food). Is this normal? I have pale skin with varied sunburns because of sunlight. Thanks for reading! C:

Yes, after a good long kissing session it's certainly not uncommon to have slightly swollen lips and the red, may not be totally common but you did after all swap a lot of spit, honey. So a little irritation is not uncommon either.

It sounds as if he was too rough. Any STI transmitted by saliva would take time to produce symptoms.
Regardless, you should probably see a doctor, specially if it persisted for more than an hour or so.
