My friends set me up with one of their guy friends that I'd never met so that we could all go as a group. He was extremely sweet, and by the next morning, I was crushing on him. I've been talking to him since then, and he tends to text me right before he goes to sleep, as opposed to texting right after school. I want to know if it's more common for a guy to text a girl he likes before bed, or after school? or any thoughts would be good. and any questions regarding the subject are welcomed.

Everyone is different. I actually text randomly throughout the day (once or twice) then before I go to bed. It depends on him.

Every guy has his own style. My boyfriend and I are in contact every night before bed. When we can't make that contact, we usually try to text or email each other in the morning.
Sounds cheesy and corny and mushy (all the things that make me want to gag), but it works for us.
Some guys get in touch every other day or at random points... completely unpredicatable.
I agree with birdynumnums. It is a compliment that you are the last person he is touch with at night.
YOU can always initiate contact after school, if you want. Just be prepared he may not be able to respond until his usual time.
Good luck.

I would only be worried if he was calling late at night purposefully. As long as he doesn't ask you to send pictures or say things of a sexual nature which would be a real warning sign in a relationship, because that's not closeness, that's creepy.
Just keep it light and don't let it all become "pillow talk", turn the conversation around if you are not comfortable with it! ;^)
