xxbecksyxx agony auntSperm is able to swim through blood.

You can get pregnant whenever; on or off your period.

If you do turn out to be pregnent, then please, PLEASE tell your mother. A doctor cannot perform abortion without your parents consent, unless you are over 16.

But, for now, I suggest you make your boyfriend take a treck to a pharmacy and buy some higher strength condoms.

If you dont know the answer to this question you are too young. If you cant get proper birth control because you can't tell your mom, you are too young. You are not ready to have sex. Just stop and wait til you dont need your mommy to help get you birth control.

You can get pregnant ANYTIME you have sex. I actually conceived my son during my time of the month. Just because you're shedding your lining doesn't mean there's still an egg waiting to be fertilized. Anytime you have sex is a time you can get pregnant. Condoms are not 100% safe at preventing pregnancy or STD's... be sure to always use 2 forms of birth control such as an oral contraceptive or diaphragm. Even contraceptive gel/foam at Wal-mart can help you out as well.

Yuck, that must have been smelly and messy and unpleasant!

Not exactly romantic!

Go to any free family planning clinic and they will give you condoms / the pill.

You can also buy proper condoms in shops. Get your boyfriend to get his arse down to the nearest shop and buy some extra strength ones. If he doesn't get enough pocket money to afford them then it's further proof that he's a child and shouldn't be having sex anyway. If he doesn't like them then tough.

I do not condone underage sex, so please ask yourself why you are degrading yourself and risking your health and your pregnancy just to please this guy?

Good Luck!! xx

HonningKanin agony auntHello,

Now I know you are going to moan at this, but you are too young to be having sex if you can not get every form of birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancy and if you can not deal with the consiquences of pregnancy or are capable of the responsibility of sex then I, personally, fell you will are too young. (but that is just my opinion) Plus I think you should inform your mother because she is far more likely to want to stop you from becoming pregnant than finding out you are and then having to deal with that. I would ask you put yourself in her position.

As for sex on your period, this is a very grey area. It is very very unlikely that you will become pregnant on your period, but it is not to say you wont. Even though a woman dispells the egg while on her period she can actually double ovulate, which means you can get pregnant.

Also sperm can live anywhere from 5-7 days inside your body waiting for a new egg to travel down. Which means its more dangerous to actually have sex prior to ovulation. This also takes into account of your normal ovulation cycle. If you have a 28 day cycle it means you ovulate(normally) on the 14th day. Now you stated your period started on saturday and had sex on tusday. Saturday is day one sex was on day 3 add 7 days for sperm life span and you have day 10 meaning you are safe by 4 days.

Now I would not reccommend this at all. Not unless you can afford the accident. There are loads of things that can go wrong like a double ovulation(does happen) or an early ovulation due to a short cycle that month(that happens) to sperm living just a lil longer than expected. I would reccomend you do get onto a form of birth control and inform your mother because in the end if you do get pregnant she is the one that you will have to go to anyways to help you deal with it. Dont wait till you are in trouble to ask for help. Go to her now and ask to be put on a birth control to avoid the whole thing. Or go to a family planning clinic to try and get you onto one.

best of luck,

HonningKanin
