The Great Google pointed me to: http://www.ncsl.org/default.aspx?tabid=4266Answer: Depends on the state. In many states it is legal. However, it is not a good idea. The gist of it is that you are likely to share genes, and some of them will be deleterious recessives. Normally, you will only have one copy of the deleterious gene, and its effect will be masked by the other copy (one from mom, one from dad). When close relations marry, it raises the chance of getting two copies of something bad, with the attendant risk of birth defects or later health problems.

Depends on your state, in most states, I believe so.

I'm not american but I thought it was illegal in most states...
Also if this is something you'd considering I'd urge you to consider that the baby will probably have some genetic defects, and decide whether this is something you think you would both be able to handle.

It really depends what state you’re in. In most states a sexual encounter with a first cousin is considered incest which is illegal.
If its a second or third cousin then its probably leagal.
