A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

ive been going out with my boyfriend for a month now and so far its beeen great we could talk for hours. i went to his house yesterday and we made out for the first time and it was nice and then his mate came round whose two years older than us and for some creepy reason he saw us making out and so did his gf who's one of my best mates and he started taking the mick out of us two

well when we got back inside he wouldnt even talk to me and sat on a separate couch and then we went up to his bedroom because i was bored out of my mind so i went on his computer and talked to my mates and then he was smiling so i said whats up and he went im just happy im sitting here with the most beautiful girl ever and shes mine and then my mate was messin around and went youve got a good one there and he went i know i most certainly have im so lucky but to me not my mate and then we went downstairs again and he wouldnt talk to me again

so i just went home but before (my mum picked me up) he wouldnt even look at me let alone hug me and then i was txtin him later that night and he was bein nice, kinda. and he never txts me ever im always the one to text him and when he says he loves me i know he means it but its always after i say it first. i think im just prob being insecure ( things happened when i was younger i was nearly raped ) but i dont know is it just one sided relationship

ArmyMedic agony auntI think the fact that his "mate" took the mick out of him, it has made him self conscious about the issue. I don't think it has anything to do with your relationship.

Hmmm, I think he does love you, he just doesn't really wanna show it in public, because he's scared about what other people think but try not to be put off by that for a while, it's just a boys thing!
