Is his demeanor and arousal a weakness or strengh?

A male Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

If a guy gets a hard on when he's sitting with a girl and they are currently just friends (neither appears more attractive than the other), yet he continues talking like he doesn't need anything from her (not needy)...... Does she feel she has power over him, or is his demeanor + hard on definitely a potential turn on for her (assuming she knows he's hard)?

Oh I see. A hard on makes the relationship either more positive or more negative, depending on her opinion of him. Thanks! :)

Tisha-1 agony auntIf she likes him, it might be okay. If she's not attracted to him, it's not going to be a turn on.

The power play idea is a masculine thing. You'll have to change your filter if you want to understand her.

Here's what's going through her head.

[She thinks he's kinda cute.]

"Oh, my, I think he's got the hots for me. I wonder if he'll ever get around to asking me out?"

[She sees him only as a friend.]

"Oh, oh, I hope he's not getting a boner on my account. Damn, how awkward! I'm going to pretend I haven't seen anything. I hope he takes the hint."

[She wants him.]

"Jeez louise, I KNOW you think I'm hot, ASK ME OUT ALREADY."

[She just barely tolerates him.]

"Oh no. Not an erection. Ewwwwwwwww. Please make it go away."
