 yah I liked this guy that was super shy. i ended up telling him i liked him but he never said anything to me. I was on good terms with his brother. I found out from his brother he liked me but was to shy.
So I tried to talk about things I knew he enjoyed because thats where he was comfy. after 2 weeks of him and I hanging out in HIS comfort zone he finally opened up and we were able to go places.
Give him time and find out what he knows and likes, that way it is easier on him to open up to u. if he doesnt open up to u after a while. sorry but he just might not like u.

i agree with the above answer i think guys dont like the whole forward should we meet up question but if its brought up as a different sort of question like do you want to go 'bowling' (maybe not that it was an example!) he might say yes :)

Don't ask him if he wants to meet you - tell him you have this cool thing you want to do and it would be could if you two could do it together. He's probably shy and doesn't even know how to respond, so make it easy to say yes. If that doesn't work, ask him what he enjoys, then invite yourself along, and if that doesn't work, it's probably time to find another guy.
