We're planning a first date next weekend. Not this weekend because I'll be out of town.. The thing is I told him I started school this week, plus we both work during the day, and again I'm leaving for a few days. The last talk we had he said, "Well, I guess I won't be able to talk to you the rest of this week because you'll be busy with school and then you'll be gone."So far this week he's text me about two or three times to say good morning, have a great day, and things like that. Very short conversations..The difference is he's not like most.. texting throughout the day or a call here and there to say "Hi" He also confessed that's he's attracted to me. Is he just being polite and giving me my space? Or would rather not talk so much before, that way we have lots to talk about on our first date?!?

Hi there,
It sounds like he's just not a phone guy. I know a lot of fellas like this (including my boyfriend), who are complete slackers on the phone. I prefer it that way, it means that they must really like you if they shoot you phone call now and then. And, you know they won't be looking at their cell phone every other minute during your dates.
I definitely wouldn't read his behavior as cold shoulder!!
