sorry gals,
man thing, we tend to get a bit dragged into our world of the oggle box, but we know you gals like a kiss n cuddle too so he proberbly just realises he upsets you when he turns you down (and if the truth be known, us men like cuddles more than you gals but shhh ;) ).
cant you be like most couples and hug, while watching tele, my gf likes to sleep with her head on my chest, she says my heart beat relaxes her.

He might be feeling bad about it. Or he might think that you're pouting about it (even though you're not).
Here's my suggestion: Next time he goes "Not now, jeez", just say something along the lines of "that's okay, some other time maybe" and smile so he'll know you're not the least bit upset about being turned down.
