The only thing is that he ALWAYS says to come if I have nothing better to do. I have heard guys say that to girls before. Is that their way of playing it cool or does it mean they are only sort of interested and really do not care if you show up...one way or the other. I do not want to show up if he is not interested and is only being polite. Reply to this Question Share |

Of course he likes you, he doesnt want to come across to full on too soon though so hes using the phrase if you have nothing better to do as a way of giving you the option. Id show up if you want to but play it cool. Next time you get the chance try talking to him, hear how hes feeling and then see where you go, its better to know where you stand than to question yourself. Best of luck , just enjoy it :)

Next time he invites you, tease him and say "Do you have a thing for me or something?" He might be adding the "if you have nothing better to do" because 1) He doesn't want you to get the idea that it's anything more than hanging out or 2) He likes you and doesn't want you to think so because you'll probably reject him and would never hang out with him if you had decent plans or 3) He's just being friendly.
