 To many people phone sex is normal, don't you see the late night tv advertisements. somebody has to pay for that. I can understand where you're coming from, intimacy is contact with someone and not over the phone with yourself. Most people have a desire for passion, I think if you've never met, what real relationship do you have until you have met and have been able to see if you wanted to be with this person or not. I won't tell you what choice you should make, follow your heard and decide what's best for you.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 September 2007): 18? yeah you should definitely just go out there and meet some folks. lots of online personal sites are good these days and were back when i tried them. I could never do the long distance thing, I'm happily married now at 24 and still if something happened i couldn't do the long distance thing. I tried it when i was a teen and i talked and talked and talked for maybe 3 or 4 months with a girl and we did finally meet, but if you think of all the time you're on the phone when it's time you could be somewhere flirting or already dating someone actually doing things, you're ear doesn't hurt so much from being on the phone for so damn long.
