I was really worried about prostrate cancer until hearing what Sandman had to say. Whew! Thank you Sandman!
Healthy sex life....less risk of prostrate cancer. Cool!

I can't imagine livimg life without sex. It keeps me happy, healthy and it is the most wonderful exercise to keep you body toned. I would sooner have a good passionate sex session, than running the marathon or working out at the gym. (NO I AM NOT A NYMPHOMANIAC) Lol. Just a healthy 40 year old woman in a loving relationship.

To answer your question, no, it would not be unhealthy to remain a virgin all your life. The body is pretty much self sufficient in maintaining itself sometimes.
As a Christian, I've got my views on premarital sex - but that isn't the topic of discussion.
Having said that. Let me say that sex and sexual union between two persons is one of the most intense pleasures, both physically and mentally, that humans can engage in. Sex is the most wonderful thing. I love sex - just can't have any right now.
So, I guess the follow up question would be whether or not you want to get married. If so, then you won't be a virgin your whole life (at least I hope you wouldn't if you're married!). But if you CHOOSE to stay a virgin, then that's your prerogative. The body has a way of dealing with the buildup of semen (via wet dreams) and the body will simply reabsorb any sperm not removed through ejaculation. So it's not necessarily unhealthy.
Some scholars believe frequent ejaculation helps men to curb their risk of prostate cancer. I don't know the percentage, but it's supposed to decrease the incidence rate by some number. I can understand why this statement would be true, but not all celibate or virginal men have developed prostate cancer.
Hope this helps.

Yes. Get laid and know what its like to live. Its not so much your physical health were talking here, but your mental health. If you get to be a virgin your whole life you will have that huge regret on your head the rest of your life. That's just something you dont want to live with.
