If you're drinking 4-5 cans or more a day then that will cause problems. Normal pop is very high in calories and acidic, so in excess will cause weight gain and damage your teeth. Even diet pop is supposed to increase your appetite (your body expects a sugar rush from the taste and when it doesn't get it, craves sugar, so you tend to snack)

Yes, it's bad for you. It's basically liquid candy. It rots your teeth, the acidity is bad for you, and it can make you gain weight. A good substitute is a small amount of fruit juice mixed with seltzer (fruit juice is almost as bad as soda, but this way it's diluted AND tastes more refreshing).

Yes it is bad for you. I stopped drinking it altogether over a year ago when I noticed my face was breaking out into pimples. I haven't drank a can yet since then and my skin is pimple free.

If you drink diet soda rather than regular soda at least you won't gain weight from the drink since the diet soda has no calories or sugar. But, diet soda still has other chemicals and preservatives which I'm sure are not good for you over the long run if you drink a lot for your entire life.

Yes in excess it is horrible for you but a can a day isn't going to be a problem for you unless you have some sort of blood sugar problem. Stick to a can a day and drink other stuff too.
