A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I'm 14 years old and when I pee, a small amount of goo(the ones when you blow your nose and lighist clear mucus comes out) after or during peeing.i don't have a boyfriend or did sex.it doesn't itch or burn when I pee but it does sometimes smells very little. I want to a doctor not cause of this but because of working papers. The doctor took my urine sample and tested it but it had a little infection. The doctor gave me a prescription and said that I need to drink the medicine stuff only once and thats it. the doctor said in a month before my period, I need to do the urine sample again. But before the sample the doctor said that when I drink the medicine stuff everything is okay.does my problem seems serious?what is the problem I have?

aunt honesty agony auntNo it is not serious, it sounds like you may have had a little bit of thrush, it happens to everyone growing up, it is a white discharge, it is a small infection that you should not be worried about if there was something to worry about your doctor would have told you.

Thrush is common in anyone, even as a baby you can get thrush in the mouth, it is a mild infection that can be treated.
