I have been with my guy for nearly a year, he has always been cautious about farting or burping in front of me, and seems to make an effort to try not to do it around me since we started dating . And seemed to get embarassed everytime he did it by accident. Everytime he does it I act like nothing happened , everyone burps and its nots like I dont! Since the beginning of this week, he has been burping non stop with saying 'excuse me' or Asking whether He has grossed me out yet ( which is usually what he says when he burps) I honestly don't have a problem with it at all. I'm just wondering is it because he is comfortable around me now and feels like he doesn't have to I'mpress me? Reply to this Question Share |

well at some point he will have to be comfortable around you because holding in that much gas for that long with give him heart burn and a bad stomach.
this doesnt mean he feels like he doesnt have to impress you, it means he is comfortable with you.
he will still impress you but in other ways.
just dont let him go too far and do things like burp at you or break wind on you as that just shows a lack of respect.
