An interesting question, I myself am a christian and believe in my own personal opinion that your sexual relationship is between you and God. As long as you do the right thing by eachother and still love and respect eachother all the same I don't see a problem personally.

This is a very difficult one, because the Bible which is the basis for Christianity does regard same sex relationships as a sin. Don't all scream at me, that's what it says and I can give you endless references. But at the end of the day, nobody, not even your church can judge you. Nobody can ever live the life of 100% perfection according to biblical standards. We all fall short at some stage. So this is a personal decision. An example for me is the bible says God hates divorce and if you divorce never marry again. I am a Christian but I am divorced and getting married again. I am also committing adultery by sleeping with my boyfriend before marriage. According to biblical standards I am condemned. But that is the difference with Christianity in how I see it; Christ is there to save mankind not through our perfect behaviour but through grace. So ultimately, your sexual orientation is a personal decision between yourself and your God.

It depends what kind of Christian you are.
If you take the Bible seriously and think a 2000 year old desert handbook should be followed exactly, then no you cannot be gay. You'll just have to live a miserable life of denial. But then you also can't wear polyester or pick up sticks on a Sunday.
If you think the old testament is more of a guideline and believe what Jesus said which is chill out and don't judge, have some wine. Then yes you can be gay. The guy hung out with tax collectors and prostitutes and leppers. He used the power of the Almighty Creator of the Universe to get a bride drunk at a wedding. I really don't think he would have a problem with gay people.
You are best off talking to someone at your church that you trust. To get a final answer. We are all just randoms from the internet.
Good Luck!! xx

I would guess that depends on who you ask. I can not speak for God ( nor should ANYONE else) but in my personal opinion - I can not see why being gay goes against Christ's teachings.

I agree with Marieclaire, what we will be judged on is not our private sex life. God gave us sex for several reasons, two of which are pleasure and love. Just be responsible in what you do.
