She complains about it, but I thought women hated "Minute-men". When I have sexual relations with her (And others in the past) I aim to please...a lot of foreplay, then making her so aroused, she feels like she has two men on her! And, I do most of all the work. I make sure she gets hers first, Usually within 3 minutes, sometimes 2 or 3 times, THEN I take care of me. Is this a problem for most women? Do you prefer men who last a short time, or longer, marathon men like myself? Reply to this Question Share |

I also agree with Satindesire. After all, if we all thought it was too long, but your girlfriend changed her mind, you wouldn't last longer to please some irrelevant external generalisation.
Just as an additional note of caution though, you said;
"I make sure she gets hers first, Usually within 3 minutes, sometimes 2 or 3 times, THEN I take care of me"
Make sure that you paying as much attention to her as she is to you, and that you're not just hurrying her part only to enjoy a far longer time for yourself. -If you see what i mean. You may not mean that you do such, but it just occurred to me that maybe her turn is over for most of the session?

This is a common problem. What is too long and what is too short.
And yes, an hour is to long. Because we are not talking about making love here, we are talking intercourse.
Imagine chewing bubblegum, for an hour. Wouldn't your jaw get tired? Sex is supposed to be fun, not an excersise routine.
I have found that women do love an hour or even more of sex but consisting of many different elements and a lot of them can be done in public, fully clothed. It is the whole "touch the back of her neck" while waiting in line at the supermarket that sets the scene for things that happen later.
An hour of being pounded in the gut... if that was what women wanted, vibrators would come with exention cords and a steam engine.
Remember that sex is about having fun together. It ain't a competition and you don't need to score points.
As a final note, what kind of message do you send to her:
1. You come very fast "Wow I must be one hit girl! Lets go for round 2"
2. You need to finish yourself "Did I do it wrong, am I not thight enough? Is he a homo-sexual"
Lay of the stopwatch and turn sex back into something enjoyable.

The inside of my thighs get sooo sore i cant bear to be touched and have difficulty walking comfortably. 10~15 as a general rule...30 min max!

Personally I've never really liked having a quicky. It also takes me a while to orgasm i think is why I don't enjoy quick sex. I would much rather savor the moment for an hour or so lol. I do need a brake every 15-20 min though. Otherwise it does get painful, and i start getting rubbed raw. Maybe she feels like she is getting rubbed raw if so it is very painful and you should be understanding of her.

So may be you can try to cut the time in half. good luck!!!

I believe an hour is too long, but it's very thoughtful of you to put the woman's needs first, as it does take most females longer to climax than men. Just don't overdo it. It can get boring and become painful for women.
The last man I was with was also like this, I was thankful, but I was way too tired to wait for him to get off. Most men aren't that selfless.

I personally prefer lots of quickies and then the occasional marathon. Women can get sore when 'at it' for a longer time and it's just not pleasurable at all when it starts to get painful. Quick, fast and passionate is always good. When going for a long time though it might be a good idea to pull out ever 10 min and either change positions for some variety or switch back to foreplay on her... just so she can see you're making the effort, plus it helps keep things lubricated which holds off soreness and such x

Most of the time, though, I like a guy who can do it fast (about 15 minutes) or I get bored. I suppose it depends upon the girl you're with. Not all girls are the same, so keep that in mind.
