My boyfriend is 16 and I am 14. We've been together for almost 2 months now. I got him a movie that he really wanted for his birthday last month but I have no idea what to get him for xmas.

I NEED HELP!! One of his friends, who is also a friend of mine, told me that I should find out what his favorite animal is and get a stuffed animal of that so that when I'm not there he can hold onto it. Is that a good enough present? HELP ME!!

musicfrk15 agony auntWell, I gave him the stuffed animal and he loved it. My parents and I also gave him a tool set since he wants to be an electician and he loved that, too. I also used bqagirl2692 idea with the love poem. I just didn't put it into a frame because I didn't have one and couldn't get one. When he read it though, I don't know how to explain it, I think that he loved it. I know that Snicklefritz had said that he would probably cry and I think that my bf was trying not to. Although he was a little quiet after he read it. I'm guessing that it was only because he was still trying to process it. Do you agree?

Thank you everyone for the great advice!

hell no. we guys detest stuffs animals and would feel extremely shy if someone else spots it.

my idea of a gift is : give him something he likes to play with... maybe a new skate board ...

That's quite a cute idea. It shows that you've put some thought into it, and the fact that you're worrying about it shows that you do really care and that you want to get something nice for him.

Fairy Lu's idea of a picture frame with the picture of you two in it is quite a good one too.

Or perhaps you could spend more time getting the right card and make that more sentimental - and get a less sentimental kind of gift?? What do you think he would prefer???

Either way it won't matter so long as he knows that you love him and he loves you - which is what xmas should be about really. x x x

That has to be the sweetest thing Ive ever heard. Im a man and it would probably tear-up. As long as its from the heart. As it seems to be, you have nothing to worry about. Yes it should be a great present.

bqagirl2692 agony auntI am in the same situation as you. Christmas is starting to kill me because i dont know what to get my boyfriend as well. The teddy bear isnt such a bad idea but maybe you should make it come from the heart a little more. If you choose to get a teddy bear, there are teddy bears that bring frames connected to the hands. You can write a poem telling him how much these past two months have been and how much you care for him. Or if your not that good a poems, you can easily write a love letter and place it inside the frame. This is something that can express your feelings to him and he'll hold onto to those feelings everynight. Good luck deciding!
