at least in the UK and Ireland 2 years is perfectly acceptable.
i would argue that as long as you don't have sex with her when she's underage then it's not only ok, but also normal. when i was 17 i briefly dated a (very mature) 14 year old girl. don't judge me!
there's nothing wrong in your case.

I realize that the acceptible age difference is much smaller when you're younger. While 10 years is no big deal if you're 45 and 55, it would be a huge difference at 15 and 25. But even while in high school, 2 years isn't that large of a gap. As long as your maturity is similar, and your parents can trust the two of you, it should be fine. I've know seniors taking freshman to the prom without a problem.

Of course not, even 20 years is not too big an age gap. Of course, I may be a bit opinionated at my age. LOL But really, two years is nothing as long as both are of legal age.
