Today I lost my anal virginity to my boyfriend of 7 months but what I didn't actually know [until today] was that you can't use the same condom/finger/whatever in the anus and vagina.. Is there a chance I could get some sort of infection??? and if so, what sort and how can you treat it!??!?

I'm a bit worried to be honest... =/

Any help?

I read a study once that said there are so many different kinds of bacteria in fecal material scientists can't even list all of them!

First off, you are so brave! I have tried and tried to do anal but I can't stand the pain!

Second, like everyone else said wash your girl stuff and he needs to wash his boy stuff! To put it simple!lol use lots of lube so as to avoide anal fissures ( tiny tears around the anus) that can be extremely painful (think paper cut between the fingers) and bleed!

Always change the condom after anal before vaginal! Like the other aunts said, a yeast infection is just the tip of the bad stuff you can get! Look up on webmd.com the symptoms of one and then go to your doc! In my experience, the OTC meds burn horribly! And the pull they give you, diflucan, is a lot easier to take and it works faster! Bacterial vaginosis is another one!

The guy can get horrible horrible infections too if he doesn't use a condom! I had a friend tell me this god awful story its gross so be warned! The man didn't clean up after anal without a condom and the next morning he woke up and the head of his penis was swollen huge! And it turned purple! He went to the doctor and it turned out during all the fun, a piece of her poop got stuck inside his urethra and caused all of it!

Have fun but be very cautious! Hope I didn't gross everyone out lol!

Just be careful hun you should be just fine!

MommyOfOne agony auntA yeast infection is just the tip of the iceberg. There are far worse infections. Just watch yourself, and make note of any changes.

I feel horrible telling you this, but it may give you peace of mind... This happened to me on acciedent one night, both my boyfriend and I were heavily intoxicated. And it went from anal to vaginal. The next morning, I was freaked, hoping I didn't end up with the more massive infections that are possible. Turns out, everything was fine. But, be careful with anal. Make sure it is cleaned before going to vaginal.

Yes you can, the stuff that lives up your bum has lots of nasty bacteria in it. Lets face it, it's POO!

If you get any symptoms then go to the doc and get checked out IMMEDIATELY. It could get worse, spread to the rest of your body, or affect your fertility in later life.

You have to wash your hands after going to the loo so you don't get sick. If you are going to put something into your bowels then wash it before it goes anywhere near your hands / face / vagina.

Good Luck!! xx
