Question - (22 June 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 23 June 2009)
A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I like someone very much off the telly, she is so beautiful and every time I see her I get butterflies in my stomach, she isn't famous, she just reads news type things on a channel and used to sell things on another. I don't know if I love her or not because I don't know what love feels like. I added her as a friend on facebook and she added me back but she has a boyfriend. What should I say to her for the first time and how and when should I tell her how I feel?

Honeypie agony auntHaving a crush is wonderful ( at any age) but realizing and accepting it for what is it can be a little harder. She doesn't know you from Adam, so if you do get a chance to talk to her try and be your self. Talk about hobbies, her work maybe, pets, movies, places you have been or want to go.

Telling her you admire her is not a bad thing at all, but telling her ( a stranger) that you love her is creepy.

iloveyhoo agony auntjust start speaking to her normal like a friend. keep it calm and dont go to over the top. start with casual conversations like hi how are you. get deeper into the conversation every time you two speak. you need to get to know her more then see how she reacts. if she is quite nice and understanding then its up to you if you tell her but what ever you do keep it calm and normal. if you don't feel ready or the urge to tell her then don't. good luck x
