writes:hey, so I've been with my boyfriend for 3weeks now and we are falling for each other fast. But I think I'm pregnant and I'm scared that this will ruin things because it's so soon.I was a virgin when I got with him and I lost my virginity to him two weeks ago on saturday. I'm on the pill but missed it on wednesday but carried on taking it since as usual, I went to the health clinic and the nurse explained that I was ok etc.But I was sick saturday night and twice last night, I keep going to the toilet a lot and feel weak almost all the time. What are the actual chances of me being pregnant? also if I am, what should I do, neither of us believe in abortions but I cant have a baby I'm too young (18) and my dad would kill us both :/Help please

 I actually just went through this with a friend. She had gone to the clinic and they said she wasn't pregnant but she still thought she was cause she was putting the thought in her head that she was. Like the other person said you could have the flu, but i suggest you just go see your doctor and put your worries at ease.

reader, anonymous, writes (11 March 2010): You can be sick for multiple reasons, and pregnancy has already been ruled out as one reason. Could it be that you secretly WANT to be pregnant and thats why you think you are? You could be coming down with the flu for all you know.

Well, you need to take a test and find out if you're pregnant or not. That's the first step. So go back to the doctor and explain what has happened. Get tested.
