My boyfriend got the same operation done as you when he was about 15 or 16.
The bruise will heal.. All bruises do. Don't worry about that.
My boyfriend's penis is pretty much straight now (it doesn't matter, they work just fine when the're not perfectly straight), he just has a little scar on it now (which I can tell you not to worry about also, it's barely noticable, he had to point it out to me, and it's not at all off putting).
He was told to pull back his fore-skin everyday for a month or longer to make sure that it healed right.
He said that it healed very quickly.
Sexual intercoarse was never a problem for him after it had healed.

You need to talk to your doctor for the answers to these questions, if they are operating they can tell you whats going on. ALl blokes jack off so seems a little extreme that you need surgery!! My hubbies has a lilt to the left and it works just fine!! x

I'm not sure why you're getting surgery, but I'm sure it won't be anything horrible. If it were, your doctor would have told you by now.
Many penises don't have perfect simmetry, and they do change over time. I'm sure you have noticed that your penis was different when you were a child, and I don't mean just the size of it. So, don't worry. If it serves its intended purpose, it's OK.
